We still don't know what color Molly's eyes are going to be. So far, they have been a really dark gray. It seems logical that they will eventually be brown, since they're so dark and brown is theoretically dominant, but there's no sign of brown yet. Looking at her eyes yesterday, I think they're heading toward dark green. Maybe they'll be brown, but they still may turn out to be hazel like Patrick's. We'll see!
Brown-eyed girl?
If there is a prize out there for most diaper rashes in one summer, surely Elijah would be a finalist. It almost makes me look forward to potty training! I am sure ready to jump on it whenever he decides he's interested. This morning he played outside for a while in the buff to give his latest rash some time to heal. At least he's having fun in the water!

Julie, maybe there is bacteria in the diapers. Do you use prefolds? You can boil them to kill the bacteria (or bleach). You would know if they are or get stinky rather quickly. What size of diaper is he wearing now? Maybe even putting a "dry" liner between his bum and the diaper might help (like micro fleece, or suede cloth)-- it lets the moisture through but keeps the bum feeling reatively dry.
