Happy 2 months (belated)!

Finn was 2 months old last Thursday, and 9 weeks on Friday.   Today we went to see the doctor and got him all checked out.   He is well and GROWING ... 16 lbs, 3 oz.  Oh. my. word.  We shall call him Biggie Smalls.  He is doing well!  The doctor thinks his weight is just fine. (Tell that to my poor tired arms and shoulders!)  He sleeps more than the other kids did at this age, but it must be exhausting growing at that rate, so you can't blame him.  Finn has rolled over from his tummy to his back a couple of times now, and has started smiling and cooing.  I love baby smiles!

Smalls is ready for some Penn State football!

Trying to get a good smile picture ...

  1. Love those cheeks! :) What is it with these 3rd babies being eating & growing machines?! Cameron is already wearing 12-18m clothes (clothes that Tyler wore when he was WALKING!) and he's only 8 months old. Oy. I don't think Tyler's wardrobe is going to work for too much longer, I'm afraid seasons & sizes won't be matching. Glad to hear Finn is growin well. And an added benefit of carrying around a 'tank' all the time? Your arms definitely get some definition. At least that's what I've been told, but my back still aches when I stand and hold him for long periods of time. The backpack hiker thingy has come in VERY handy, since he outgrew the bjorn so quickly. :) Way to go momma!!! ;)

  2. Finn is such a cutie! LOVE his chunkiness! My CJ was a big chunky baby - 20 lbs @ 6 months and then he was barely 40 lbs @ 5 yrs so you never know how long it will last! I understand the arms hurting from holding him-- make sure you take time to stretch the upper chest by holding something behind you and leaning forward-- it'll even help your back feel better (I've heard this stretch called the Titanic because it is similar to the part where she is at the front of the boat leaning out with the guy holding on to her-- if that makes since).

  3. JULES!!!! is this kid for real?! Cam says: your child resembles the shape of a rugby ball or maybe more like a medicine ball. at 16 lbs he is a medicine ball and the heaviest one at that!

seriously though, he is absolutely adorable.. he has so much baby Elijah in his sweet face!
WE LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH!
