All done! I went pretty short this time - he's already been getting a sweaty head at gymnastics and the park and it's not even warm out yet! It should make washing his hair a lot easier too - it takes an awful lot of water to rinse shampoo out of hair that thick.
Molly sat in her seat and had a snack and watched the show, and will proudly tell you that she got a haircut too, but I didn't cut hers this time - she didn't need it. One of these days (or years) the top and sides will catch up with the back; until then I guess I'll just trim the back when it gets scraggly and not worry about the rest of it.
A very handsome haircut for a fine young man! Hope all is well, we enjoyed seeing Elijah while he was staying with Uncle Luke and Aunt Jackie.
ReplyDeleteNicely done, Julie! I don't have the patience (nor does Tyler) to use scissors anymore, I just take Matt's clippers go all over with the No. 4 guard. ;) I miss his long(er)soft hair, but whenever it starts growing over his ears, I know it's time for another quick cut. :)
ReplyDeleteanne, i've been wishing i could use the clippers - it would be soooo much faster. but elijah HATES them! he's not a fan of loud noises anyway. so we just stick with the scissors for now. he'll have to go with daddy and get a "real" haircut (from a professional) in may before cameron's wedding. i hope that he will let them use the clippers a little. eventually we'll get there.
