Thanksgiving - the trip
Well, our Thanksgiving trip turned out to be more of an adventure than we would have liked. The week before we left, we took our van in because it was making a strange noise. It turned out that we had to get a new engine. So the van was still in the shop when it was time to leave, and we had to make the drive to Pennsylvania in the Civic. It was pretty tight! Then, in New York we blew out a tire on the interstate, so we made the rest of the trip on the spare. At 1:00 am, as we pulled into Patrick's parents' neighborhood, we were pulled over by the local police. The officer came up and let us know that he had made a mistake, and let us go. It was just a wild and crazy night!

Wow, so glad you made it safely, despite some car troubles & a tight fit. We have a Honda Accord, so we know about tight fits. :) Hope the kids were good little travelers though, that takes a little of the stress away when they do well. :)
