Lazy Saturday morning pictures
We all had a nice, quiet morning yesterday. Here are a few pictures of the kiddos, doing their kid things.

Today
Elijah woke up with pretty funny bed head.

Molly is finally getting all the way over onto her belly now. She's so proud of herself!

We packed up the swing last night and got out the jumperoo. Molly was pretty thrilled this morning with her new toy! Elijah is all excited about it too - he'd love to get in if I'd let him.

(Almost) rolling over
Molly is almost rolling from her back to her tummy now. She gets 3/4 of the way, but can't quite get over that inside shoulder. (She actually did get all the way over once, but it seems to have been a fluke.) The funny thing is that she likes to just hang out there - half way between her side and her tummy. It's a good place to be able to reach for things. She is really active when she's playing on the floor now - rolling and scooting this way and that until she's inched her way across the floor. Molly thinks it's great to find herself in a new place where she can reach construction trucks and other big boy toys, so I have to keep a close eye on her!

Splish, Splash!
Molly loves taking baths! Here are a few fun pics of our happy girl gettin' clean.

Does she look like Elijah did? (She is 5 months old, he was 7 months in that picture.) You can really see the difference in their eye color!

Playing
Just a picture of Elijah playing - he loves his construction trucks and his trains.

And, speaking of construction trucks, we found this cool site, with videos and descriptions of the equipment. Fun!
Here is Elijah trying on his rain gear for next year. (Cool shark rain coat from Aunt Diane.) It's kinda big, but it kept him dry when it was pouring!

The little man makes his stage debut
Last week, Patrick and Elijah participated in a big event at Patrick's work. The event was a pageant (for the male students) to raise money for the local children's hospital. Patrick was asked to be one of the judges, and they asked if Elijah would be one of the child escorts. Here he is, escorting a contestant in the sports-wear part of the pageant:

The contestants gave each of the kids a gift. Elijah wouldn't walk off stage until he opened his! He wasn't nervous at all - he didn't seem to mind the big gym full of people or walking out there with someone he only met a few minutes earlier. He really enjoyed the whole thing (especially the guy who played the drums in the talent round). Elijah, Molly and I left after Elijah's part was over (it was past their bedtime!), but the parts we saw were really fun, and the event made a lot of money - the contestants had been working on the fund raising since the beginning of the school year. I enjoyed seeing the students having fun doing something really positive - they did a great job!
